No, I haven't been trolled on Twitter or been dubbed 'a minger' by the British Tabloids, I have newly been signed to the fantastic modeling agency 'UGLY Models'.

Ugly are the oldest and biggest 'character model' agency in the U.K and represent a diversity of interesting characters such as Bizarre cover girl Nina Kate, the U.K's most pierced man Prince Albert and a whole host of delicious 'freaks and geeks'! With no 6 foot, size zero super models insight (well, unless they have an amputated limb that is), Ugly's books are a true cross section of the weird and wonderful society in which we live and I am super happy to be part of their family.
With auditions held only every 18 months I eagerly awaited the time when I could apply and after a 1 minute audition and a couple of head shots later, I got the call saying that I had been chosen for representation. Woo hoo! It is so refreshing to see that the industry is looking for a more diverse range of faces to front campaigns and editorials, let's hope agencies such as Ugly are leading the way in getting us 'weirdos' out there for more to see!
Everyone in the Ugly office is uber friendly and welcoming and I can't wait to see what kind of castings I will be getting. Ugly models have been part of a wealth of projects including the Harry Potter and X-Men movies, campaigns for Levis and Diesel and shit loads of adverts and editorials. So who knows where you might see me next; Vogue, I-D, Playboy? - the world is my ugly oyster!
